Writings from the Range | October 2024
As the weather cools and fall settles in, I’m refamiliarizing myself with life’s rhythms and admiring its cadence.
While the natural world slows down, the businesses we employ to protect it keep churning.
We’re thankful to welcome many new eyes to our emails this month as our Annual Sale brought an influx of supporters into the Range Revolution community. If you made a purchase, told a friend, or otherwise helped share our story, thank you for your support and advocacy of the brand and our mission.
In a few days, I have back to back opportunities to connect with peers in the farming, ranching and food community. On October 8th, Western Landowners Association is hosting "Working Hands, Wild Lands" mini documentary film festival at the High Desert Music Hall right here in Oregon. I’m honored to join my peers in ag and ranching as well as the director and producer of “Against the Herd” for conversation post-films. If you’re local, check out the details below - we would love to see you!
The next day, I’ll head to Denver for the 2024 RFSI Forum where over 500 individuals active in building, maintaining and growing regenerative food systems will meet to exchange ideas. Range Revolution will be debuting our catalog of regenerative leathers and speaking to attendees about our work in creating a traceable, domestic supply chain for these valuable natural fibers.
On the creative side, we’ve got several projects in the works - including a holiday campaign, partnerships and events with brands and individuals we admire and even some brand new products. Through this work we hope to communicate the wonder, joy and power of the natural world and our ability to connect to it through fashion.
As always, thank you for your support of this work and for being part of our Range Revolution.
Eternally Grateful,
Cate, Founder
