When we use the term “traceable”, we mean that every hide in a Range Revolution product has a clear, unbroken story connecting it to the ranch where it started. We built the systems to make that possible from the beginning, working directly with ranchers and processors who’s work fits our standards, partnering with tanneries who keep careful records for every batch, and figuring out step by step how to hold that story together all the way through the finished piece.

Our supply chain begins on specific American farms and ranches. Places we've visited. Managed by families and operators we know by name.
Each of our partner ranches participate in ecological outcomes verification, meaning each year the land is evaluated for net positive outcomes— ensuring the grasses are coming back, the soil is holding more moisture, the kinds of life you'd want to see in their specific ecosystem are returning.
2026 marks a significant milestone for our sourcing and supply chain story. We’re now supporting grass-fed and grass-finished holistic graziers as they transition their operations into ecological monitoring and regenerative certification programs.

THE JOURNEY OF THE HIDE.
The hides we use come from cattle raised for meat on our verified partner ranches. In the United States alone, millions of those hides go unused every year. Ours travel a fraction of the distance that leather typically travels before it becomes a product, and from the moment they're collected, they carry a record of where they started. That record stays with them through every step.
Nothing gets mixed with hides from somewhere else. The story, provenance and integrity stays whole.
OUR RANCHING PARTNERS
Our partner ranches don't just practice sustainable farming—they're actively regenerating the land. Each ranch monitors their lands using Savory Institute's Ecological Outcome Verification™ (EOV™), providing empirical evidence of improvements to soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem function.
To earn this verification, ranches undergo annual visits from regional EOV Verifiers who collect data on the farm's performance in the context of its ecoregion. This protocol was developed with soil scientists, ecologists, and regenerative land managers from around the world to ensure legitimate ecological improvement.
Through regenerative ranching practices like managed grazing, these ranchers:
- Improve soil health and increase biodiversity
- Enhance water holding capacity in soil
- Sequester more carbon on rangelands
- Create resilient, drought-resistant landscapes
- Support wildlife and plant diversity
By choosing to work exclusively with these ranchers, we're helping to expand regenerative agriculture across America's rangelands—ecosystems that make up 54% of Earth's land mass and hold tremendous potential for carbon sequestration.
PRODUCTION WITH PURPOSE
We proudly partner with tanneries who abide by practices that help conserve and protect our Earth's valuable resources. Responsible waste management, water treatment and energy conservation practices combine to further reduce the footprint of the materials produced.
We maintain complete traceability throughout our process—from the ranch to the finished product. We work exclusively with production partners who share our commitment to:

Every Range Revolution piece is handcrafted in Los Angeles and Leon, MX by skilled artisans who are paid living wages in caring conditions. We embrace natural character rather than hiding it—you'll see the marks that show this is real leather from real animals on real working landscapes.

Range Revolution was founded by Cate Havstad-Casad, a designer, entrepreneur, and first-generation regenerative rancher who recognized the disconnect between our food systems and our fashion systems.
