FOUNDER REFLECTIONS

Last week, I made a special trip to visit some of our manufacturing partners in Leon, MX. The city has a rich history of leather working, dating back to the 16th century, and let me tell you, the artists working in this field are truly some of the best in the world. Our partners are deeply immersed in tradition and craftsmanship, yet forward looking and ready to build with us this traceable, regeneratively sourced leather future in fashion.

I traveled alongside Ryan Cleary of Mighty Creature Co, who is helping document the making our of leathers, our bags and our debut boot collaboration. We can’t wait to share this process with you through his creative lens.

Here’s the thing; The future is literally what we design it to be. Let’s then design for regenerative outcomes, eh? It’s really beautiful, and really fun. 

We’ve got a lot coming up, from in-person events to new styles and our much-anticipated boot collaboration - and through it all - we’re so grateful for the opportunity to learn, create and share along the way.

The Old Salt Festival. A celebration of our three favorite things - food, music and land stewardship, held under the big sky on the Mannix Family Ranch in Helmville, Montana. 

We’ll be popping up in the makers tent alongside some of the best creatives in the west. We’re also looking forward to the conversations to be had in the Land Talk Lounge, hosted by the Western Landowners Alliance.
